Not Everyone Who Makes R34 is Actually in the Fandom

I feel like I need to bring this up as a lot of people use the porn as a way of saying how bad the fandom is. An artist can draw porn of a character without actually playing the game or even knowing the character. Now, are there a lot of fans of the game that do draw porn of the characters? Yes, definitely. I just need to make it clear that not all of the porn necessarily comes from the fandom.

Considering the characters that get 34'd in this game are goats and skeletons, it seems reasonable that you would grow to lose faith in humanity.

The point is, the existence of porn relating to a game, or anything else, doesn't really mean much other than a way of signifying the amount of people that know about it.

Many people try to say the fanbase is bad just because of the amount of porn there is, when really all that means is that the game is popular and more people know something about it.

Very true, but most adults (not dumb 12 year olds) know that and thus simply don´t care there exists porn. Through I wouldn´t want to meet a person who REALLY like that stuff in real life

To add to this, people request commissions from NSFW artists a lot, and it isn't just exclusive to Undertale, Overwatch is really good at this too. This means the artist doesn't have to even know of the fandom except for maybe drawing reference.

Judge them all you want, but money beats moral nine times out of ten.

And it's not even a bad thing most of the time, people just need to get by.
