Why would you hate a game that you've never played????
- wise words from a hater.
k then.
I legitimately cannot begrudge anyone who was turned away by the fanbase. If I wasn't already a fan around the time it was REALLY exploding, I'd have personally probably just written it off as just another overhyped 4/10 piece of trash that got popular because people have never played a legitimately good game. I'd give examples, but I don't want to start a flame war.
(Also worth noting, it really isn't for everyone. When I see people go "If Undertale doesn't make you cry you're a monster" I just cringe and think about the people who just didn't get into it, and how these fans are inviting any and all backlash onto themselves with those statements. There's a difference between active hate versus instigation.)
Then he made a video taking the piss out of the crybabies who were defending the game from his well made statements despite the fact that he said you can like the game if you want to.

Jesus he ended up disabling the comments lol
Constructive critisism is better than plain hate
In conclusion, stop hating on the fanbase, because, honestly, every fanbase is as bad, if not worse, as Undertale's
