Lagging

So,i wanted to play undertale once again,however when i entered the game,it was laggy af i had 13-25 fps,cloud somone help me?
What i tried: Verifying game files,reinstalling.

Same problem here, suddenly stuck at 22 FPS (rarely 23 for a few seconds). It was all good before monday.
Also tried verifying files and reinstalling, but.. Meh, useless. No idea what to do.
If someone knows how to fix the issue or if you find an answer on your own, I am also interested.

Just uninstalled and reinstalled a second time, that did the job.

guyyssss i uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times and its still super laggy, i even deleted 8/10 games i had on my laptop but still nothing, is my undertale laggy like dis forever ???? and btw i tried to reset my laptop and it keeps saying "there was a problem reseting your PC, no changes were made" so if u could help with that too then that would be litt

If you are recording with Fraps while playing, it's locking your FPS on 30, but it kinda annoying using Fraps everytime you play Undertale.

Having this same problem, stuck at 22. Does anyone know how to fix it and if I uninstall will my save file be deleted?

i fixed it by playing the game for 1 hour,simple as that.

Seems like it wouldn't work but I guess I'll try. I read somewhere deleting local files would work but not sure. I'll just play but it sucks since this is my first playthrough and I wanted to experience it without any issues.
