That old turtle guy sais something that bothers me
I think for some reason his name is Gerson(i don't know why), sooooo im gonna shorten how much i need to type. If im to lazy to wright I'm, im not going to wright "that old turtle guy" over and over.

So, when on genocide route and talking to Gerson you can select threat. he responds with:

I've lived too long to be afraid of something like you.
Try it, kiddo!
...I know you can't here.
Wah ha...
Knowledge like that is the only reason I've survived so long.

"I know you can't here". He may know this because people know a little about how some of the game functions work. For example, Sans with his judgment, and Asgore when he destroys your Mercy button. But this may be a little diffrent. The shop in snowden was closed because they were scared of death. Why didn't they hide?

what do you(plural) think?

The reason you (and by extension Chara, you're both working together) kill things is because you love to see the fear on their face before they die (exception of Papyrus, who would be annoying for a genocidal person), and to gain power. Gerson (and Burgerpants) know you won't kill them, because they aren't scared. Chara and yourself won't get any satisfaction out of it.

but he says here, he doesn't say because im not scared. But that does solve why the snowden shop closed and i totally forgot about burgerpants.
well, that clears that. Thanks

Well, aside from this, i think it's a reference of when there's a massacre or a zombie apocalypse, but shopkeepers are alive anyways

His name is Gerson. Basically he knows that you can't kill him when he acts as a shopkeeper, seemingly due to experience with other humans in the past. Burgerpants doesn't leave, because he's forced to stay there by Mettaton.
