the most mysterious characters in game
is Sans, Frisk-Chara and Gaster?
not flowey asriel and others becouse their strory is clearly given in the pacifist run

And if we do not encounter any information of Gaster it is only Sans and Frisk-Chara

But Chara only in genocide rout is considered well in pacifist it's almost nothing? and only Sans left

Sans' story is also slightly laid out better in the genocide run. Flowey's story is also given more detail in the genocide run.

Possibly a least known character like river person? We don't know his gender and he speaks weird phrases.

Papyrus. That sweet little cinnamon roll is too nice for his own good.

PS Is formally Papyrus and Sans was derived from Helvetica comics - hwo read this?

Other than the fact that he is aware of Sans' teleportation abilities and has knowledge of other timelines. And also may have Gaster Blasters.

And that he's physically different from monsters and lacks basic knowledge.

Everyone keeps thinking sans is the different and mysterious one but if you think about it, Papyrus is odd too.

He didn't know what the sun was while everyone else did.
He didn't know what sleep was, and then he later admits to Undyne on a phone call in Hotland that he doesn't even sleep most of the time because he's too busy.
I'm not even sure if he eats or drinks, because he doesn't even know what his spaghetti tastes like and he just keeps them as trophies in his fridge.
He has gaster blasters.
Undyne admits that he's unusually strong.
He and sans just showed up one day, so that makes him suspicious too.

There's probably more suspicious stuff but I can't remember them right now.

Its insinuated that he has Gaster Blasters. When you do a genocide run up to Papyrus and then spare him, later when looking at his bone attacks he says "It's a good thing you stopped when you did, or I would have had to blast you to. . ." And then he changes the subject.
