Shyren
So i was doing a genocide run and i saw shyren and i only hummed. I didnt attack at all. Does this count as sparing and does this ruin my genocide run?

It does count as sparing, it does not ruin the run.

...depends did you kill her or spare her?or you killed her then it didn't make it neutral,if you did spare her i think it's now a neutral run,idk i got a "genocide" run from not fully killing the ruins off but it might be cause i had 2 left and killed napsta and tori making it genocide

No, sparing insignifigant enemies like Shyren does not make it neutral.

Interesting fact someone pointed out yesterday. If you do Shyren's concert, you can supposedly see Sans either handing out fake tickets made of toilet paper or wearing a hood and stalking you from a distance, depending on your path.

Actually, Shyren is a significant enemy, and sparing her does make it neutral.

I thought only the enemies that were different on genocide (and Toriel) were signifigant. Muffet is included because her dialogue changes, but I don't think Shyren is.

While that is true about sparing normal encounters, Shyren is actually a special encounter you can only get once and you are actually required to kill her to maintain the genocide route. Same goes for Snowdrake.

I knew you could only encounter each of them once, I just didn't know it was required to kill them because of that.

So I guess the OP really did ruin his/her genocide run.
