(spoilers) Question about soulless pacifist ending

So after you finish a normal True Pacifist run, the first time you open the game afterward Flowey will be there to sort of try to talk you out of doing a True Reset and ends with something like "Eh, you've probably heard this 100 times anyway. Well, see ya around, Chara."

Does he do the same thing after the end of a soulless True Pacifist run (that is, a pacifist run after giving your soul to Chara at the end of a Genocide run)? Is he not there? Is he there but says something different? Or do you not even get the same reset option/start menu after this run?

Never done a full Genocide run myself (though obviously I've read plenty of spoilers) and was curious about how this little detail was affected.

I'm not sure but I think that you don't get the TRUE RESET choice anymore. If you've done genocide, you've done it and Toby wants you to REMEMBER and FEEL GUILTY about it. No, I doubt you can wipe the slate clean without uninstalling said Undertale. Not sure 'bout flowey though; life might be easier if there was a STOMP button handy when you met him.

You can True Reset, it just doesn't erase the Genocide file.

The True Reset speech with Flowey happens the next time you open the game after completing the pacifist ending, and yes it happens after soulless pacifist as well.

Completing genocide only changes the two possible post credits scenes.

Hm, interesting. Now I have to go have a closer look at that speech and see how well it fits both scenarios, haha. Thanks for the info!
