How is Sans X Toriel a thing
Okay, if you ship it, then I respect your opinion. I just want to ask... How is it even a ship?

Toriel calls herself an "old lady" and she must be ancient, at least over 60 if she was alive in the great war. I read somewhere that Toby Fox confirmed Sans is 18-20. Maybe I'm wrong, but can any of you see Sans as being any older than 30?

I see so much obsession over Sans X Toriel, and it just makes me sick. I guess that's kind of inconsiderate, and I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone, I just want to understand how anyone can think that's a good couple.

I guess they're cute together, and in some Neutral endings they do live together, but just look at their age difference and the whole ship goes out the window for me. Plus, I always tell Alphys at the end of a Pacifist run that I think that Toriel and Asgore will get back together someday. But that's just me.

What do you think?

The internet does not give a ♥♥♥♥ about age differences.

I'm fairly certian the only reason why people ship them is due to Toriel being able to make snans oondertale actually happy.

Hell if i know, they might just want to see the skele ♥♥♥♥ the anthro goat.

That's true. The internet sucks. I've seen people ship Papyrus and Sans, so why shouldn't they ship Toriel and Sans? Other than the fact that there's NO ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM AT ALL. Ugh. I hate this ship. But you're right.
Boss Monsters only age with their children and parents. Because of this, Toriel is technically only around 35, and Sans is probably around 25. 10 years is not a weird age gap if you're both over 20.

The main thing is that they seem to make each other happy. They share a love of bad puns, and Toriel actually helps Sans not give into what he believes is a predetermined fate.

The reason Toriel and Asgore break up is because the only feelings they had toward each other were romantic. They shared no common outlooks. Asgore is terrible at puns, and doesn't really express any enthusiasm for the ones Toriel makes. Asgore is not very good with money or organization, while Toriel is overly caring and takes her work and her own morals very seriously.

There are 2 rules that govern the Internet:
1. the internet is for porn.
2. The internet is full of sick ♥♥♥♥!

Where did you hear that Boss Monsters don't age? (I mean, not trying to be rude. I just didn't know that.) I don't think it's mentioned in the game.

You talk to the turtle shopkeeper during the pacifist ending, when you're prompted to go back and say goodbye to everyone.

Oh. I didn't talk to him. I feel like I should have, now, even though I played Pacifist twice. I should know that xD I'm playing it again, I'll talk to him. Thanks! I guess it makes more sense now. That doesn't mean I like the ship, but at least it's not as bad.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of Asgore, to be honest.

Pretty sure that if Toriel was alive in the Great War, then if she continued aging, she'd be somewhere about a century+ years.

Asriel was only alive for around 10 years, so they would only age that many years more from their age during the war. Which would have probably been early 20s.
