The Possibility of Sans Being in Smash Brothers Ultimate

When I first heard about the whole "#Sans4Smash" thing, I originally just thought this was all gonna be a meme and it'd blow over in a month or so.

And at first I could understand why people would think he'd get an appearance in Smash, seeing as how Undertale was ported to the Nintendo Switch, but now I'm at least 75% sure Sans will be a DLC character for Smash.

This is why I believe that: Toby Fox said that Deltarune wouldn't come to any consoles until it was a full game, yet Chapter 1 has already been released on the Nintendo eShop.

And another thing is at the end of Chapter 1, if you speak to Toriel she will say the following, "What's that game that you and Asriel used to play? Super Smashing Fighters?"

Now I'm probably gonna get a lot of backlash for saying this, but Toby Fox does things similar to Scott Cawthon, so I highly doubt he just put that reference in there for no reason, especially when you consider that this game came out before the whole "#Sans4Smash" meme.

But I wanna know what you guys think!

It makes me happy to know that at least my favorite manga/anime worlds will never be touched by the stupid World of Light.

I'm pretty sure that World of Light doesn't include the DLC characters though

What I meant to say was that I don't want to fathom the idea of manga/anime characters being turned into spirits because of Galeem. That happened to be the case with the Persona series with Joker as a playable character. There are spirits featuring Persona characters.

I honestly wouldn't care. Tbh, having spirits for Vegeta, or Piccolo, or Krillin, or Gohan wouldn't bother me too much if it meant that we could have Goku as a playable character

I mean I'm not saying DBZ is bad, I for one haven't watched a single episode of it, but I don't think the Smash community would take too kindly to having anime characters in their video game character fighting game...

As much people like the think that word dunk could mean that hint for undertale. But............. I do remember that word use often in basketball. It call "slam dunk" when ever basketball player do that thing to score point.

It’s them using both “dunk” and “you’re gonna have a bad time” in the same description. As well as dunk being used in a similar context.

I just find out that Toon Link down air tip. Turn out that tip already show up before undertale was a thing on steam. This Toon Link down air tip already show up on Super Smash bro Wii U in September 13, 2014 and Undertale came in September 15, 2015. I guest was not meant to be a easter egg reference to undertale.

Simple

Stage: Snowdin

Music: STMPWYFS, Megalovania, Bonetrousle

Mii Costumes: Frisk's Sweater, Toriel's Dress, Papyrus' Outfit

Spirit Characters: Papyrus, Undyne, Grillby

I can see the Ruins, MTT Resort, and Snowdin Woods at least being considered, but ultimately Snowdin makes most sense.

If Undertale gets less than 13 songs I will be disappointed. This OST is too rich to only add a couple songs from.

Don't forget Undyne's Armor / Casual Outfit, Mettaton EX's form, Asgore's robe, and Sans' jacket. 8 costumes is probably too much but they'd be cool.

Only 3 spirits? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaww.
Flowey, Toriel, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Asgore, Mettaton (normal + EX, maybe NEO), probably frisk if Toby is okay with that, and a couple normal monsters like froggit and whimsum, who'd evolve into final froggit and whimsalot.

If you unlock a certain amount of Characters you automatically get Piranha Plant and Joker, don't know when though but you do get them in WOL.

Just to be far thought. That character show up countless time on a popular games series. Can also seen as a joke character add into a game like ROB and wii fit training.
