I'm worried about Toriel

So I'm new to Undertale and everyone who has played the game probably knows that if you kill Toriel in the beginning, and you regret it so you go back and load up an older save file and then spare Toriel, Flowey will come up and say that you murdered Toriel and all that. But my question is: is Toriel still alive? Like are you going to be able to meet her again? Or call her from your phone? Thanks for reading!

Like most of the people I thought she was going to let me spare her or something when she got low on health. and then I did 300 damage :(

She is alive. You went back in time before killing her and let her live instead. Flowey just knows you can do that.

Before leaving the Ruins you can actually go back to the golden flower bed at the very beginning and find her there. Once you leave though, you can’t re-enter the Ruins until after the pacifist final boss and she won’t answer if you call.

To spare Toriel you must continue hitting the spare button again and again until eventually she gives up and lets you spare her. If you do this she doesn't die.

I was actually smart and remembered how the frog said that you may one day have to use spare when an enemy's name wasn't yellow and figured that you have to keep sparing. But yes, she is still alive. However, you won't see her again until the end of the pacifist route.

she also won't pick up the phone
