Changing Deltarune Text Files

I've been trying to change up the Deltarune text. I managed to find it, but the file is locked. It won't unlock and I can't edit. I also can't get it out of the Lang folder or put new files in. Is this normal, and how do I fix it?
I use a mac computer.

I don't even know what you are talking about, Violet-Wolf. I could edit the text files without difficulty using Notepad++.
