Megalovania is overrated

Honestly, its not that good. For me, its hopelessly outmatched by spider dance, here we are, hopes and dreams, and Dummy. The song doesn’t fit sans for me, and it feels very repetitive.

I can respect your opinion, but at the same time, I completely disagree, Megalovania is my favorite theme in the soundtrack, even if it's a bit overrated. Hopes and Dreams and Asgore are also great IMO but nothing beats Megalovania (except for the AU versions of Megalovania, and the Disbelief soundtrack)

I know its a really unpopular opinion so I wouldn’t expect people to agree. Take a good listen to here we are tho, its the true lab song while not in encounters. Pretty cool song that goes unnoticed.

you're not the first person who I've heard saying the Megalovania is overrated, but tbh I kinda like the song.

as for Here we are, I was unaware that's what it was called. but I'm still sticking to what I said, IMO Megalovania, Asgore, and Hopes and Dreams are the best themes in the game

Yeah megalovania is FAR from the worst. I find the tem shop ear piercing.

Personally all the songs are good in their own way. Megalovania is intense but still allows for suspense. Bergentrucking sends a message of intense grief. Hopes and dreams gives you that feeling that this is it. This is what you want. What you've been waiting for.

Megalovania isn't really supposed to fit sans, wouldn't you think it's actually chara's song?

If chara had a cannon fight I think a slower high pitched minor scale song would fit.

I actually love hopes and dreams. It’s probably the most like “This is the end of everything” music Ive ever heard. Followed closely by the world bowser music from mario 3d world.
