Delta Rune's Ending

For those of you who had played the game and finished it, I'd like to address something. After leaving the dark world, you should all know the fact that some characters weren't able to recognize some other characters, like Undyne with Alphys, and Sans and Toriel. But I did notice something else. they were all on the surface, sure, but I didn't see any humans beside Kris at all. Frisk never seemed to have existed before, and Asriel is on the surface, living life normally. (also grillby didn't seem to be there)

I propose that the game is set in a universe where humans are below ground and monsters are above.

the game isn't a sequel nor a prequel to undertale. It's an alternative universe. An universe where undyne doesn't know alphys and sans doesn't know toriel. I don't get what's wrong with that. About why kris is the only human might be later in other chapters revealed.

At the end of pacifist you can go back an talk to asriel bit he wants to be a big edgy baby and stay at the flower bed BUT later on he gets bored and says eff thos flower bed and makes his way upstairs to the other world and resumes his life as a teenager and goes to college
B. The reason alphys and undyne PRETEND (note i said pretend) not to know each other is cos tjey had such a bad breakup that they're pretending the other does not exist (OR, the more likely theory, they did that eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind thing and had the other wiped, and undyne is obvious jim carrey and alphys is kate winslet)

Can't be because toriel's house has templates(or whatever they're called) for both Ginger Bread Humans and Monsters, hinting that they're are humans on the surface. It might be that Monsters are discriminated by Humans and thus have to form their own communities.

B: That doesnt explain Sans and Toriel, and even then how did Undyne get her eye back?

You're forgeting that a human lives in that house. Surely Toriel would want Kris to feel included?

yea but then he realized if he didn't take that scheduled SAT he wouldn't get into college

well it's simple really, first he bang this drum then he bang ur goat mom
(also her eye could be fake ofc, being a cop prolly has some nice benefits and her insurance can cover it)

My thoughts:

1. This is in fact, an alternate universe where the monsters won, and humans were locked away.
2. Due to the events of UNDERTALE not happening, the characters would never meet.
3. Because Undyne never had to fight the other six, she didn't lose her eye.
4. Gaster is probably involved, and for all we know he's the one who 'introduced' DELTARUNE.
5. The child (Chara) never fell down, so Asriel would still be alive.
6. How Kris came into the world of monsters is the main mystery right now...we can only wait until Toby releases the next chapter for more answers. Or more likely, he stuck a bunch of easter eggs that nobody's found yet into the game.

(also her eye could be fake ofc, being a cop prolly has some nice benefits and her insurance can cover it)

Doesn't seem very Undyne-like to have a fake eye, she seems like the kind of person to think eyepatches are cool
