If you are presented with the option fo killing asgore, you arent doing pacifist, you are doing neutral.
(if you have NEVER done pacifist before, completing neutral is necessary)
Still, killing is not okay in pacifist, duh
ok
If you have gone through the game without killing anyone and you gave Undyne the glass of water, you can reload your save after the neutral ending and backtrack. Because the pacifist ending requires you to go back in time before fighting Asgore and Flowey, killing or sparing them does not matter. You also won’t be able to fight Photoshop Flowey again until you’ve completed either pacifist or genocide, instead he teleports you directly to the ending.
If you spare Flowey, he will tell you whose side quest you need to do to get the pacifist ending. If you kill him, you can still do these side quests, you just won’t get the hints. Flowey will also be alive once you reload or reset (though if you reset at this point he won’t appear at the start of your next run, he is still alive though).
