so i im doing genocide and i havent killed shyren but i have 1 kil left in waterfall. do i have to kill her if thats case, or can i just kill the mad dummy later. is the mad dummy later? is there someone after shyren i can kill instead of her?

For Waterfall, you need to finish the kill counter (18) before you encounter Monster Kid on the bridge. You have to attack him when he initiates the fight, and Undyne The Undying will be fought. If you spare Monster Kid, the Genocide run will be aborted.

You are required to kill Shyren and Snowdrake for the Genocide Route. I haven't tested it, but she'll probably spawn even if you've gotten the kills. It's either that or no monsters spawn before her room at a point, forcing you to kill her.
