idc how long getting the Temmie armor takes, i just wanna get past him. ( plus im too bad at Undertale to practice his attacks)
so is it worth it or not. I dont care about how long it will take
Yeah, but Asgore isn't even technically the hardest boss in the neutral route. If you got to him, you should be able to get past him. He's not any harder than Undyne or Mettaton.
it took me 14 goes to get past undyne and 8 to get past mettaton
cloudy glasses?
-Heart Locket, Burnt Pan
-2 Starfaits, 2 of anything that heals at least 20 hp, Hush Puppy, Pie, 2 Dog Salads (dog salad is last resort healing, since it can heal between 2 hp and all hp). Basically whatever I have left that heals a decent amount. Look up any items you don't know how to get.
The Heart Locket has the highest defense, so you take the least damage. I also use the Burnt Pan because with it Starfaits heal 18 hp and dog salad at least 6, which should be enough to keep you alive until you can heal again. If you think you'll get hit a lot in one turn, use the Cloudy Glasses or Torn Notebook. If you think it'll help, use Sea Tea to increase your movement speed. The Stained Apron might help you survive when you're out of healing, since Asgore always lowers you to 1 hp before killing you. For maximum attack, use the Cowboy Hat, Empty gun, and Legendary Heroes. However with the empty gun, you need to be precise to deal much damage, so if you're bad at attacking use a different weapon. The Worn Dagger isn't that different from any other weapon in the armount of damage, so you might want to keep the locket but not the dagger. Temmie Armor does have more defense and many other bonuses, but it ruins all the fun. It's basically cheating, that's why Temmie encourages you not to use it unless you're REALLY stuck.
If you still have it, use the Pie the first time you need to heal. It lowers Asgore's attack and defense. If you talk to him 3 times, it also lowers his attack and defense even more. Talk 3 times, then start attacking. When it says he "has low HP," it'll only take 1 or 2 hits to kill him from there.
okay thanks
