Undertale

Undertale

BEFORE YOU BUY
I don't own this game and I'm not going to get it on Steam because if you like me have a Nintendo Switch and want Undertale wait until September 18th (correct me if that is wrong) and then it will be on Switch but if you don't own a Switch or are really desperate to get it I'm not saying you can't this is just a notice for you guys. The price is $15 on the Eshop and $25 for physical or $70 for the collecters edition (man do I love collecters editions)

It’s actually the 18th it comes out. Smart thinking for those who have a switch to buy it. I bought the PC version in December. After seeing all the new things they added to PS4s version I’m also going to be buying the switch version. The collectors edition I want is 70 dollars so I don’t know if the switch port will be the same price as the steam version or not. 9.99

What extras come with the Switch one? A jewel case with other stuff to go? Undertale on something that ISN'T Gamemaker Studio, but is written in C++? How about Hard Mode finally being a true gamemode?

I don’t know what’s different in the switch version, but if it’s more expensive, just get steam version

I seen videos of the PS4 port, and it has things that the PC port doesn''t. For example, control options, Dog shrine, and some other things. (Also it has a collectors edition)

it will be more expensive because of the fact it is undertale (ps4 like version?) on the go

Should've waited for the switch version. Not that the PS4 one is bad, I mean, they're exactly the same, It's just that Toby is a fan of nintendo/earthbound and all, and I really just wanted to see his hopes and dreams on an actual nintendo console. It's great how far he has come.

The Switch version is $15 digitally, $25 Physically, and $70 for the Collectors Edition. The Collectors Edition comes with so much stuff I feel it's worth it.

I didn't follow the PS4 release all that close, but I'm pretty sure there's going to be something exclusive for the Switch. As of now nothing has been annunced.

I never would have gotten the Steam version if I knew this game was getting ports. The Steam version is the most inferior version now.

Oh god, please help me if that's true. I mean I already bought two versions of the game. A third would be insane. It better not be something good or I might just play it a 15th time.

If I got a PS4 and a Switch, I will buy it anyways...

And I assume you are telling me the digital version of the Switch release is also inferior? I don't exactly need whatever trinkets are included, particularly the stuff that may very well have been made into PDFs for download.

That bastard Toby should have used C++ instead of needing Gamemaker.

It's inferior cause it has the least amount of content, unless you count mods, but that goes without saying.
But the PC version is still the cheapest which is something to consider.
And if you wanna be picky the PS4 doesn't add all that much extra content.

-As for the 'trinkets', actually having them and just seeing them are two VERY different things. If you don't need em then cool.

-I think you misinterpreted me, I didn't mean the Switch Collector's Edition was best, I meant the PC ver is basically obsolete because UnderTale exists elsewhere with even more content. If the PC ver got a patch to include the Dog Shrine, well, I'd still say Switch (in general, digital or whatever) is the best version, for obvious reasons.
[Because of the portability with no downsides. I don't see this game having lower resolution or framerate.]
