Deltarune questions; SPOILERS!!!
1.) What are the best defensive armors in the game? All I can muster is a defense of 5 for each character.
2.) Is JEVIL even beatable? I feel like I'm getting nowhere.

1) I think 5 for each is the best you can do if you keep their defense even, but I could be wrong. Just play around with the stuff you find and buy amber cards to fill any empty armor slots.

2) Jevil is definitely beatable, but you'll want plenty of healing items. I've only beaten him by sparing him with the pacify spell (took a while, too), so idk if he can be killed.

5 is the best...dang

I have my inventory full of healing items minus the glowshard, which idk what it does, and manual. I've also been spamming that Hypnosis skill to tire him out, but I keep dying before anything actually happens...which is why I asked if it was possible to win e.e

It takes a while so just keep at it. there's zero indication as to how tired he is before you can spare him, and idr how many times I used Hypnosis, but it was a lot.

Also, I made a mistake in my first post: you do get one more armor piece for beating Jevil. My mind is kind of all over the place rn from this game, so sorry for the mistake.

It's cool, I'm the same way. Though its because I'm trying to piece together how this is connected to Undertale xD
Thanks for the help btw, even showed me how to do that (spoiler) black-out text stuff ^-^
