Is Undertale's fandom really that toxic/cringey?

So, I really wanna say this right now. Undertale is getting a lot of unwarranted hate right now, mainly due to it's fandom. And I just wanna say... Is the Undertale fandom really that toxic/cringey? Did the fandom really ruin Undertale? (You are all going to hate me on this) Well, maybe not. According to these videos.

(So I gotta say that, just because some people are bad in a fandom, that doesn't mean everyone is bad.)

Edit 7/16/19: I was wrong. These fandoms (also the Undertale fandom) is actually garbage.

dude, i have blogs on tumblr (i was active until last year since my job needs more attention)

i guess we have to determine what is 'cringe'.

inexperienced artist's drawings are not cringe. what-ifs comics aren't cringe. hell, even ship-y fanfics or self inserts is not that 'cringey' for me. people having fun drawing stuffs they like (as long as not offensive) is not cringe. you cant say it's cringe because it lacks skill / experience in said art field, or when it disagree with you on certain ideas (or headcnon to say the term). it's like @DoOmGuY said, telling an artist their art/fic is cringey is a bit rude, especially if they are young and just starting to learn.

for me, cringe is... acting improperly in public, intrusive behavior, and/or being offensive, among other things.

and.. uh, you know Ao3 and wattpad is mostly for posting smutty fic... right? it may has weird kinks, i dont blame you if you dont like it, but dont shame other people who has interest in it, please. it's like if you dont want to see ecchi but you browse gelbooru. (oh no, dont look it up)

i cant say about pinterest, it's my go-to places to find art references.


all in all... i found many maannyy awesome stuffs on tumblr,

the fact that you're morelikely to encounter things you dislikes in the same site.... perhaps it's because you started in the wrong side of the site in the first place?

you know, i can show you filtered fan contents of undertale that i like. maybe that will change your mind (or at least, gives you different perspective)
