Sans battle isn't that hard!

The first time I tried the Sans battle, I only died about 6 or 7 times. I just started my second genocide run, and I killed him first try. Are people getting crap at games, or am I good? Do any other people find him like this? If I was asked how hard the fight is, I would probabaly just say Normal Difficulty.

I never did the genocide route, or ever kill anybody at all no matter how many True Resets I've done, but I do have something similar to your situation. I've been seeing a lot of posts around the internet of people saying they can't get past Asgore. Really?! He wasn't that frustrating to me. It only took me four attempts on my first playthrough and only one try after every True Reset. Yes, I did it at LV 1 with the Worn Dagger & Heart Locket. NOT the Temmie Armor that a lot of people rely on because really, that armor is basically activating Easy Mode. Honestly, once you know every single attack pattern in this game, you can practically dodge everything. Some people just don't have the ability to memorize stuff like this.

Sans's battle requires the proper movement, response time, and awareness about what he's about to pull off next. By seeing his moves again or again, you start to learn his pattern. The more determined you are to defeat him, the easier it is to dodge his attacks and kill him.
In response to your title, no, Sans isn't that easy, infact, it's very hard for unaware players. I myself have not reached sans, but I did spend about 4 hours on a genocide route before I accidently spared one of the monsters while in combat. However, since you were determined and somewhat knew the strategy to him, it's relatively easier to you.

Woah, ASGORE? That's insane. I did Asgore first try while only getting hit a few times.

Most streamers took between 50 and 100 tries.

Most of my friends required at least a score, and it took me 13-14 tries.

Beating him in less than 10 is far from normal, thats for sure.

Average joes that needs 20-30 are pretty normal.

And if you need less, then congratulations, you are pretty good!

That doesnt miraculously make other people bad tho.

the "game" there is simple: try to survive as much as possible...while sans attacks goes faster.

I would have figured you’d beat him the first time since the simulator is actually harder due to the higher frame rate.

It isn't that they are crap at games, it's just that some people have a harder time responding to attacks under preassure. I'd say 30- 50 trys is normal.

You're not alone. Modern gamers just tend to suck at video games. Sad, but true. If any of those struggling with Sans tried to play Super Meat Boy, or Electronic Super Joy, they'd ♥♥♥♥ their pants, run from their house screaming, and fling themselves into speeding traffic.
