In response to your title, no, Sans isn't that easy, infact, it's very hard for unaware players. I myself have not reached sans, but I did spend about 4 hours on a genocide route before I accidently spared one of the monsters while in combat. However, since you were determined and somewhat knew the strategy to him, it's relatively easier to you.
Most of my friends required at least a score, and it took me 13-14 tries.
Beating him in less than 10 is far from normal, thats for sure.
Average joes that needs 20-30 are pretty normal.
And if you need less, then congratulations, you are pretty good!
That doesnt miraculously make other people bad tho.

I would have figured you’d beat him the first time since the simulator is actually harder due to the higher frame rate.
