Will I get a copyright strike on YouTube for UnderTale remix music?
I plan to make an UnderTale fan animation on my Youtube channel and use remix music from Nick Nitro and some others artists who are allow fandom to use their music.

Nick: I know a number of you use my songs for your own stuff so here's a list of terms on using my tracks, it's a business thing but I'm trying to keep it as fair as I possibly can.

can I use your music?

Yes, you can monetize it if you link to the original video/my channel and do the following:
if you do a speed paint, an animation, a commentary/review video, writing your own lyrics or using my track as a backing instrumental for your song cover, use in a fan game (if it's for an original not related to a fan game, contact me first, you're going to need permission depending on the situation), or just for background music for a livestream. basically anything considered fair use and is transformative you're good to go!.

I also saw animator like Camila Cuevas make Undertale fan animation and even make money from her fan animation. (I saw yellow youtube advertising popup tab under her animation VDO.)

And I look at this one.

Hey, I'm Toby's music publisher for the Undertale soundtrack.

We did not register it with YouTube's Content ID, so you are welcome to use it without getting a strike or claim. If you do, it's someone else - if that happens, email us: publishing@materiacollective.com

If for some reason you need a license for YouTube, or legally selling a cover, you can also email us.

As always, please be respectful and give a good impression if using copyrighted Undertale content. Cheers.

But my friend said that I will get a copyright strike on YouTube if I make Undertale animation.
And if I make my original story animation on my channel, I will never make money from my own original story animation because my channel get a copyright issue from making Undertale fan animation.

He also said I shouldn't make any Undertale fanmade thing on my channel for my own good, If my channel gets a strike...my original story animation will get a strike too.

I'm so confused...I mean look at Camila Cuevas's channel and what Sebastian Wolff said...It seems like we are allowed to make these fanmade things.

Is there something that I don't know about these things?

If it's a remix, it's actually a self-creation and you can't get a copyright strike for it. You finally take a source (in this case music) and change it. I think that even falls under free artistic development or parody.
