how to restart undertale?

so i got destracted by school and wanted to come back to undertale so i decided to restart the game so i couyld play from the start to refresh my memory. but insted it compleatly changed the game. is there any way i could fix this. in the game befor hand i had not compleated it and was not doing a genicide run.

That's how the game works. It remembers events you've experienced before when you go back to experience them again.
However, I've seen a YouTube video that shows how to manipulate the game's files on your computer to completely erase the game's memory. Maybe that video could help you.

Yeah, yeah. I won't search it up, because it's some weird stuff. getting on topic, if you go to %appdata% then look in one of the files, i think local, you can find a folder named UNDERTALE. delete it.

Either complete a True Pacifist run or Genocide run.
You can also look up how to find the Undertale files and delete everything in the folder. It's different for mac and windows, if you need a mac guide I can tell you how

i dont know what "undertail" is i just suck at spelling.
and i found a solution go in to the app data of the game and change all the numbers on the sheet to the original 000000 that will reset every thing as if playing it again for the first time.
