Go online and watch one of those "Undyne the Undying no hit fights" on youtube. Watch them in slow motion and try memorizing all of her moves for every turn. You can always edit your save file using Flowey's Time Machine. By giving yourself a real knife, you can cause 5000 damage every turn. Do the same with the locket which gives you 99 defense.
The problem with Undyne in genocide is that once you get to that point, you’re pretty much locked into fighting her with whatever items you already have. Most of the tips I give will more than likely require starting over the run.

99% part of the fun... is using your own brain to learn how to beat a boss. If you don´t want to put the effort then just watch an Youtube video, FFS. And save the money
The genocide run is all about inventory and xp management. In each area you have a limited number of monsters you can kill for xp, this includes required minibosses and special encounters like Snowdrake and Shyren. You want to be aware which monsters give the most xp on death. It’s possible to be LV 12 when fighting Undyne the Undying.

Equipment Guide:
Ruins:
Take all monster candies.
Grab Faded Ribbon and Toy Knife asap, discard Stick But keep Bandage for additional heal if needed.
After getting the But Nobody Came message (or while grinding) buy as many spider ciders as you can. Replace Bandage or Candies if needed.
Sleep in Toriel’s house to get the pie then fight her.

Snowdin:
Take Tough Glove from box, drop Toy Knife. Place the butterscotch pie and spider ciders in the box. Try to only use candies and Bandage to heal while in the forest. Grab the 3 Snowman pieces and place them in the box when you can. If you think you need more defense, go into the town and purchase the manly bandana, otherwise ignore it and keep grinding.
After grinding the kill count, in Snowdin town empty your inventory into the box, go into the shop take the free money and fill inventory with cinnamon buns, don’t bother getting manly bandana if you didn’t get it earlier.
Waterfall:
After killing Paps, head into Waterfall. In the room with the waterfall and moving rocks (just before the first Undyne encounter) walk into the center of the falls to reveal a secret room, grab and equip the Tutu inside, drop Ribbon/Bandana.
In the flower bridge puzzle room create a bridge going offscreen to the right to reach another secret room to get the Abandoned Quiche (may want to look this up for more detail on the puzzle). After this make your way to the raft, this is a point of no return so make sure you have everything you want.

In the open watery black and blue luminescent swamp room (normally the room after Sans tricks you with the telescope) make sure to head left and grab the Ballet Shoes, drop the tough gloves. Continue through Waterfall normally but know that Monster Kid lifting you up on the ledge is another point of no return.

Once you reach Gerson’s shop, purchase the Cloudy Glasses. You can either drop the Tutu or sell it to Temmie.
Stick to the room outside of Temmie village to finish grinding. Once you’ve filled the kill quota, fill your inventory with the Abandoned Quiche, and all of your Spider Ciders you bought earlier. Fill the rest with Cinnamon Buns. Make sure you have the Ballet Shoes and Cloudy Glasses equipped, then continue to face Undyne the Undying.
Hotland:
Grab the Instant Noodles from Alphys’s fridge then continue on. Grab the Burnt Pan and equip it, dropping the Ballet Shoes. Hotland and the Core share a kill count so don’t worry about grinding, head straight for Muffet, kill her, then make your way to MTT resort.

MTT Resort:
Typically I stick with the Burnt Pan and Cloudy Glasses for the remainder of the run. You can take the empty gun from Catty and Bratty’s shop if you wish, but I only recommend it if you are good with the timed hits. DO NOT drop the Burnt Pan it will be useful later.

Before talking to Burgerpants, use or drop all of the spider ciders and cinnamon buns you have, as well as the Abandoned Quiche if you didn’t use it for Undyne. Place the pie, Instant Noodles, and 3 Snowman pieces in your inventory. In Burgerpant’s shop, buy the Face Steak, then 2 legendary heroes which should fill your inventory. Once you’re ready head into the Core.
Core:
Head straight through the elevator door, you’ll be right outside the door to Mettaton NEO and a save point. Head just a screen over to the left and grind on the bridge using the save point to heal and save when needed. DO NOT fight Mettaton until you have filled the kill quota otherwise you will forfeit the run. Once the worst part of the run imo is completed, kill Mettaton and head up the elevator to New Home.
New Home:
Nothing of note here except Sans himself. The Real Knife and Locket are available but are useless against Sans, and only really there for story purposes. Make sure you have the Burnt Pan and Cloudy Glasses equipped, as well as the inventory of items mentioned above in the Resort bit.

True, but if someone’s reading through this whole thing, they’re probably not going to care about spoilers.
