Undertale

Undertale

Black Screen on Startup. NO genocide run. EVER.
Like the title says, I need some help. For some reason... while connected to 2 monitors, Undertale shows nothing but black even though I'm only trying to run it on 1 monitor.

And again, I have never done a Genocide Route and never plan to, so there is no other reason I can see for this to happen.

The monitor is connected via a standard HDMI cable. The game works fine when I'm just running it on the laptop, but I'd really like to be able to play it on a larger monitor... so I'd like to fix this here if I can. Thanks.

Do you hear anything when in-game?

Yep. I hear the music and the menu, but I can't see anything, regardless of whether its windowed or in fullscreen.
Strange, I remember when my computer broke and I had to by a new PC with no data of UT, but when I started it, it took me to the blank screen when you boot up the game after erasing the world. But it could LAG that's causing that or a bug

Didn't work, but dev gave me a drm-free version. Apparently Undertale's steam-based DRM doesn't play nice with Windows 10 all the time

This happens alot with games such as Paladins and heck even Overwatch. Just make sure you are on Undertale while its starting up. Make sure you are not on another tab.
