how do you beat undyne on "neutral"

so far i spared most bosses except greater Dog and mad dummy , but i fought random encounters ( except those cat things didnt want to harm them ) , how do i spare undyne ? and is that even necessary or possible on the first playthrough ? i just want to play through the game normally at first , not pacifist and not genocide , i just avoid killing main characters like papyrus or toriel

i keep on blocking until 1 or 2 attacks hit me but i just cant spare her

If you killed Greater Dog then it´s pointless to spare Undyne unless you want to see her neutral ending, because pacifist is by default... impossible. And avoiding her attacks on neutral isn´t hard at all. Learn to play, honestly. Then run away once the heart becomes red. That´s all there is to it.

i mostly had troubles with the arrows that switch direction and i played well past the point where your heart turns red again , thought she would stop at some point and im able to spare her

found out after posting here , i usually dont run away from things thats why i didnt know
