Does Sans absorb the souls in genocide? (Spoilers obv)
I don't see why the souls would go to waste, unless monsters used it to escape past the barrier. Everything in battle mode is black and white, with the exception of Asgore's trident and humans (Chara for example), as well as their souls (this is why Flowey and Asriel's fights are so colorful, they absorbed them). Maybe Sans' eye is caused by the human souls?

Maybe I'm missing something here????

No, it's just his Integrity Soul ability (Blue Attack). It's just a more honed version of Papyrus's.

It could be both though, right? Anyways, I don’t think that the killer eye is only because of the souls, he could probably do it whenever he wants (maybe not). Why wouldn’t he absorb them though? Even if more HP is next to useless, he could deal more damage that way.

There's also the bit about apparently only Asgore can summon the souls. Flowey says he has killed everyone, but never was able to get the souls. That means even with Asgore dead he couldn't get them. If Flowey couldn't get them in that scenario, there's no way Sans could with Asgore still alive.

Yep, itis s as Asriel said.

Also, many characters hint to Papyrus never having any intent on capturing you. Intent plays a big part of the fights in Undetale and without intent, fights are either quick or long...

"There's also the bit about apparently only Asgore can summon the souls. Flowey says he has killed everyone, but never was able to get the souls."

I think you're remembering the context wrong. Flowey likely gained the souls after killing everyone. So he gained 6 human souls. Maybe just Asgore's afterwards or a mixture of a few. For a Serial Murderer to be reborn he planned a very specific event that needed neutral+ ... including Alphy's and so on. Flowey needed the human to create a very specific scenario. As Waterfall's wall text says, it takes a lot of monster souls to = 1 human soul. Flowey set it up and thus got 7 almost equiv human souls..

Probably also why Flowey only fights as Omega neutral the once... IIRC, he skips others unless true reset? Might be remembering wrong there.

But Flowey says Asgore would never show him the souls.

Never >willingly< show him. Also, doesn't meet his goal. After gaining access he clearly shows no interest in them again. Hence why true pacifist exist.

Text in Watferall eludes to this.

But if he absorbed Asgore's soul and the human souls he could go to the surface and get another human soul. And we know he can absorb Asgore's soul because he does it in the Pacifist Ending.

In the Pacifist Ending, Asgore makes the souls appear before fighting Frisk. Which allows Flowey to get the human souls and monster souls at the same time.

Wouldn’t he only erase half of Frisk?

There are many colored things in battles. Characters blushing, Toriel's eyes, colored attacks (blue/green/orange/red etc), human souls, colored text on occasion, Undyne's attacks, Muffet's tea, a bunch of things in Mettaton's quiz show, Asgore's eyes flashing blue and orange. I don't think color means anything, it's just used for emphasis.

Good point there, I should have noticed those.

Sans have a monster soul. White.

So he doesnt have an integrity soul, not there is a link between integrity and blue magic.

Red apples and magma are two very different things even if they share external colour.

TL:DR. Having fan theories is all fine and dandy, but dont state them cathegorically like they were canon, because some people might be confused.

If you have any other way to describe it, please I insist.

And Sans doesn't have a white monster soul if you're gonna rule out implications.
