how many times can you replay undertale?
My friend told me I can only play it one more time after true pacifist. And I want to fight photoshop/omega flowey again but I don’t want to create a new user or anything. By the way I play on steam (obviously) and I use an iMac

You can play as much as you want. Just don’t update to Catalina until the 64 bit version of Undertale releases.

However you can only fight Photoshop Flowey once per save. Meaning after you beat him once, you’ll need to either complete Pacifist or Genocide, or manually delete the save data in order to fight him again. If you only reset and get to him, he will skip the battle and take you straight to the ending.

Let me add that I just got it and it’s somehow working on Catalina and I completed the true pacifist route. I don’t really know how to delete data but after i true reset it can I play it more than once without deleting data?

Maybe the 64 bit update did come out, I thought it was in beta.

You can play it after a True Reset, or after completing the genocide route.

But how many times can you replay it? And I don’t think it’s 64bit because it the same as the older YouTube video where undertale is 32bit. It’s very weird how I can play it I will send you a screenshot of what the icon look like soon. it is in my artwork section

The 64 bit conversion doesn’t change the content of the game, it’s how the game is compiled to run. The Catalina update and all Mac updates going forward are 64 bit exclusive, meaning you can’t run any programs that are 32 bit.

Most Windows programs are 32 bit for compatibility reasons, so older machines can still run them.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by replay. You can do however many runs you want. The game doesn’t delete itself or anything.

well my friend told me you can only do one more run after a true reset and I want to have the neutral ending again (Omega Flowey ending) because I am going to do a YouTube series on it and then do the true pacifist ending again. It's just that I don't want to create a new user. by the way look at the screenshot in my artwork section its what the icon of undertale looks like. and its not 64bit I'm sure. the game looks the same as on YouTube

I guess they meant you can only fight Omega Flowey once.

So in Undertale when you create a save with a new name, that name is active through multiple playthroughs until you either complete Pacifist and True Reset, or complete the Genocide Route. When you do either of those two, a new save starts and you can make a new name. If you reset in the middle of a run or after the neutral ending, it is not a new save and you have to keep the same name.

Within the entire time you are stuck with a name, you can only fight Omega Flowey once. Afterwards, Flowey just skips past the battle to let you go, because he knows he can’t win.

If you True Reset or complete Genocide, then start a new save, you will be able to fight him once again.

There is no limit on the number of runs you can do.

Does that make sense?

Yes it does thanks so much! My friend must have been wrong. Thanks for helping me!
