A) Why wouldn't you go over there?
B) Taking small random samples of a group will not change the ratio of how many people would like your work based on it's quality
I will end up recycling Kay's concept later anyway.
If your intention is just to manipulate people to mine approval as a therepeutic validating resource then it doesn't really matter who gives the approval, but you'd think being self-aware of that fact would make the approval seem hollow...
I want opinions from decent people around here because this place usually ins't filled with decent to good ideas so the people would judge my work accordingly to what they think and also compare it to the stuff normally found here.
Instead of just: "That's good, but X thing could change."
I want "That's good, but X thing could change, but overall it's decent for a Undertale OC.
I just want that little extra "compare" along with the opinion i would find anywhere else.
Sure, I can understand that. It'd be similar to me barging into an Undertale remix community and slapping them upside the head with pro-mixed analog stuff... But it seems a bit, I dunno, fruitless? Eventually you get to the point where your writing isn't accessible to the lowest common denominator anymore and therefore these people aren't a very good judge. It depends who you want your audience to be.
You still didn't get it, i just want that little compare ALONG with the decent opinion a decent person would have. I don't want the opinion to be changed just because the person ins't used to see good stuff.
Well, I think there's lots of "decent" fanfic writing communities on tumblr or fanfiction dot net (i think?). You could probably get a more concrete demographic of what you're looking for over there rather than people who just have the game installed on steam
I feel ignored
i'm going to cry now
- The backstory is pretty rich, obviously would be more rich if in story or media format.
- The powers are unique in the UT universe.
- They weren't "BFFs" with Frisk, or any other character for that matter.
That's was basically the only con I had. I just have one question, what about Flowey? He said he killed everyone, and you said your character never interacted with the Undertale Cast. And you can't say Flowey couldn't find her, he probably reset millions of times.
Yoru giggled at your joke.
I have been blessed
About the con, i think you are right. I'm not the kind of guy that tells ideas about characters to other people often, so when i do, i unleash everything i can think of to make a unique, backstory-rich and believable character.
I actually drew a few concept art for Kay, i might post them sometime. I didn't colour them, and the best one doesn't even show her full body, since i wanst going to do alot on it; but i rather drew it as a guide to know what i wanted the character to look like.
Well, about Flowey, it works this way:
Kay never met Flowey, in fact, don't even know about his existance. But Flowey, in another hand, does. Maybe in some different timeline they met, but just like you said, in that timeline is extremely probable that Flowey just killed her and, later, after killing everyone, resetted.
So technically Kay doesn't know Flowey, but Flowey does know Kay.

I don't think I'm ready yet
Her yellow description in ending credits "Master Assassin".
Btw good OC.
