Report a translation problem
I don't really think there IS a villain, but if I had to choose someone I'd say the player is the villain.
Or at least you can be the villain. Considering Chara is the only real villain if you "teach" them to be [referenced in the talk at the end of the Genocide run, where they say how they first wondered why they were awoken until you "showed" them. I think the game in general gives too many points of views and different sides of the story to really consider ANYBODY the true villain. There are antagonists that stand in your way of achieving your goal, but not much more.
Sans Is good. He wants to kill you BECAUSE your bad.
Next thing you know theres gonna be ideas about how Toriel is the main villian, I mean COME ON!
