I'm stuck in hotland (genocide route)

i already killed the two guard dogs and saved so i can't go back to fight the planes and the pyrope isn't appearing in floor 2 (I assume because of the wall). Do I have to restart?

Go to the Core bridge and grind.

Hotland and the Core are combined for the genocide counter. You don't have to kill one of every monster, you just have to kill enough monsters to meet the requirement before fighting the boss.

As Weshek said, I recommend going to the bridge in the Core outside of the door to what is normally the Mettaton EX boss and grind there. Do not fight Mettaton NEO before depleting the counter, if you do you forfeit the run and will not get the other special boss in the genocide route.
