Does Flowey after Neutral prevents you from doing Pacifist? :/
This must be a really common asked question, but this really bugs me, I am kind of new to Undertale, and my friends told me it's always best to do the Neutral Run first.
And I pretty much killed Flowey at the end.
After I finished with my first run, (Which I killed Flowey in..) I wanted to start a True Pacifist Run.

So Im reseting my first save, starting a new one, and Flowey's missing. And I am all confused,
So I was wondering if killing Flowey prevents me from doing a Pacifist Run, so I asked my friends, (Which did a Pacifst run after Neutral) If killing Flowey matters, and they said No.

So I sat 6 hours today, playing Undertale, trying to finish that Run, sparing every monster I see, and dealing with the fact that I am not strong at all.

And after so much time of trying to beat Asgore, seriously, it took me over 9 tries, I managed to get him to low health, just like I did in my first run, and I clicked "Mercy" and he decides to kill himself, give me his soul, and tell me stuff about that this is what his son wanted.

And then Im encountering... Flowey?
Why was he there?
He just told me he will always be there to ruin the happy ending and something like that...

And of course, that after 6 hours, I get pretty much the same phone call I got in my last run and then the game ended..
Can someone tell me please...

What did I do wrong in that run?
Does killing Flowey actually matters?
Is it true that doing a Neutral run is always the best to do first?
And also, can you please tell me how much of a noob I am?

Thanks :3

That's normal, Flowey reappears when he needs to.

Nope, it just gives you extra dialogue and makes you miss out on the True Pacifist hints.

That's an opinion, opinions can't really be 'true'.

Nothing from a previous run will prevent you from getting a specific ending. Aside from genocide which will alter an ending.

In order to get pacifist you have to hangout with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. You have to do them in order and you can only hangout with Undyne if you haven't killed anyone and gave her the glass of water after her battle. The Alphys one is locked off until you defeat Photoshop Flowey once, the reason is because you have to go through New Home to learn about certain characters or the pacifist ending will make no sense, as well as learn about LV and XP from Sans.

Flowey will remember you beating him until you complete either a pacifist or genocide run, so you do not have to refight him on subsequent runs if you're going for the pacifist ending, in fact he won't let you refight him and will instead just skip to whatever neutral ending you got. Likewise the Alphys hangout will automatically be unlocked in subsequents runs until you get either pacifist or genocide.

Since you've beaten Flowey once, all you need to do is complete the sidequests with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. Most people get stuck on Undyne's. Her house is in Waterfall near Napstablook's. If you completed Papyrus' hangout/date he should be standing outside her house waiting for you. After that's done, go to the bridge between MTT Resort and the Core, and you should get a call from Undyne telling you what to do from there.
