Nope, it just gives you extra dialogue and makes you miss out on the True Pacifist hints.
That's an opinion, opinions can't really be 'true'.
In order to get pacifist you have to hangout with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. You have to do them in order and you can only hangout with Undyne if you haven't killed anyone and gave her the glass of water after her battle. The Alphys one is locked off until you defeat Photoshop Flowey once, the reason is because you have to go through New Home to learn about certain characters or the pacifist ending will make no sense, as well as learn about LV and XP from Sans.
Flowey will remember you beating him until you complete either a pacifist or genocide run, so you do not have to refight him on subsequent runs if you're going for the pacifist ending, in fact he won't let you refight him and will instead just skip to whatever neutral ending you got. Likewise the Alphys hangout will automatically be unlocked in subsequents runs until you get either pacifist or genocide.
Since you've beaten Flowey once, all you need to do is complete the sidequests with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. Most people get stuck on Undyne's. Her house is in Waterfall near Napstablook's. If you completed Papyrus' hangout/date he should be standing outside her house waiting for you. After that's done, go to the bridge between MTT Resort and the Core, and you should get a call from Undyne telling you what to do from there.
Wow, thank you so much for this reply!
