The flower knows
In my defense I didn't know that she'd die. It was so sad, how could I not go back? But the Flower knows and now I'm honestly a little afriad to touch this game again, even though it is really fun.

Any thoughts?

I think he accidentally killed Toriel. Don't worry, no permanent effects happen until you go genocide.

u should be killing things for exp and possible drops, how are u sopposed to beat bosses if u wont grind

...By talking to them and showing them mercy. There a difference between new player and been comatose for the last two years, I know how Undertale works. Sorta.

I was confused by the mechanics, it's so rare to find a game where real pacifism is an intended feature.

Anyway yeah, Toriel. I was trying to see if I could get the fabeled true pacifist golden ending the internet was losing their minds over for so long, but it looks like I already screwed it up?

If you killed someone, or didn't give water to Undyne if you're at that point, then yes, you screwed it up.

Just accept the decisions you made. Do something else in your next run and see how it changes the outcome.

I have, but the opportunity to talk down monsters and make friends with them instead of fighting them? Yeah, I will probably never have any run that involves a violent play style. This is way too fun. :)

(Also killing her was kind of an accident, one that just reaffirmed my love of non-violent gameplay. Talk about heart-breaking.)
