Well, depends on the AU. Some of them are pretty good. The rest are garbage and shouldn't exist.

honestly im sick of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aus that dont change ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. in any community. aus that change atleast something enough for it to be signifigant and interesting is fine as long as they dont make it cringey. but my god some are just. "oh hey uh theyre uh a different aethetic. does it change the story? barely my dude. but oh my man cant you just wait to see fricks and sand undertale have some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rad pirate sex? no? oh well buy my au merch."

AUs started the whole Sans x Sans trend, which I hate. Some AUs are okay, though. Most are garbage, though.

Me too! I think AUs have taken over the world and no one cares about classic Undertale anymore! Every Housing Plot I see on the Hypixel Minecraft server is called "UT AU RP" and it's driving me over the edge.
