I haven't played Undertale for just about the same amount of time you haven't, so I apologize if any of my help is a little rusty.
The Genocide Route is worth playing after the Neutral and/or Pacifist Routes. It alters the story and adds a nice contrast to how the game's theme normally is (it's normally light, upbeat, and giddy but it turns into dark, malicious, etc etc).
So far, i fought with some frogs, but most of the time i was looking for a peacefull solution.
So, if the game didnt worked for me in those 2 hours, do you think that I will get into it later on. I am willing to give it another chance, cause I see that so many people are praising it, but it didnt felt like my cup of tea for the time I played it.
It really depends on the player. I'm speaking from my experience with the game. I'm a big sap however; I gave in and cried at the end of the Pacifist Route.
I'd say keep playing if you're really interested in knowing and if you like it hey! keep going with it! do all the routes! But if, by chance, you end up not really liking it that much, just give up on it. ^^
So, I say try to beat the game once and see if you will like it. It's not too long.
Though, if you feel too bored by it then I suggest to move on. It might be not for you.
But if you're already past the point of being able to get a refund and willing to give it another shot, I doubt it would hurt playing for at least little bit longer before moving on.
And if nothing else, at least you gave it a fair shot.
Luckily, nobody spoiled anything for me so far, and the fact that i know there are multiple endings doesnt bother me that much :)
There are about 15 endings, so there's plenty of variety as far as they go.
