When does it gets good?
Hello, I played Undertale, like half a year ago, and I've gotten to the point where im in the first small city (after some puzzles from bone brothers and some encounters with dog petting).

For those 2 hours lets say, I didnt connect with the game at all, I found it bland and boring, with some humor that was not funny for me. (i didnt skipped any dialog and was playing in a good mood).

So, does it gets better from that point onward and can I expect something refreshing and really worth playing for?

Matter of opinion

I can agree the first hour or so of the game is pretty boring. Personally, I believe the game gets to an exciting turning point by the waterfall area, where another main character appears.
I haven't played Undertale for just about the same amount of time you haven't, so I apologize if any of my help is a little rusty.
The Genocide Route is worth playing after the Neutral and/or Pacifist Routes. It alters the story and adds a nice contrast to how the game's theme normally is (it's normally light, upbeat, and giddy but it turns into dark, malicious, etc etc).

True Pacifist is pretty good though

OK, I dont know anything about no routes, but i can guess that you are talking about nokill playthrough and killeveryone :D

So far, i fought with some frogs, but most of the time i was looking for a peacefull solution.

So, if the game didnt worked for me in those 2 hours, do you think that I will get into it later on. I am willing to give it another chance, cause I see that so many people are praising it, but it didnt felt like my cup of tea for the time I played it.
I thought the game was slightly mediocre until the (real) mettaton fight, personally, and then it blew my mind. The games set up in a way to subvert your expectations. You will most likely want to play it again after you see the neutral ending to try and mess with the outcome.

Yes! The No Kill route = Pacifist and, clearly, Genocide = Kill Everyone.
It really depends on the player. I'm speaking from my experience with the game. I'm a big sap however; I gave in and cried at the end of the Pacifist Route.
I'd say keep playing if you're really interested in knowing and if you like it hey! keep going with it! do all the routes! But if, by chance, you end up not really liking it that much, just give up on it. ^^

OK, hmm, I will try to give it a second chance, I would really like to like this game, maybe was expecting too much since there was much hype around it. Thanks again for the answers guys!

Well, you already played past the 2 hour mark so you won't be able to get a refund.
So, I say try to beat the game once and see if you will like it. It's not too long.

Though, if you feel too bored by it then I suggest to move on. It might be not for you.

Ye, will try that :)

I've seen some people who were pretty meh on the game until they got one of the endings. But whether or not you'll find pushing through the rest of the game to see it worth it (especially if you're not even a little bit into it by Snowdin, the place it sounds like your at) I can't say for certain (Because there have also been people who didn't like their ending)
But if you're already past the point of being able to get a refund and willing to give it another shot, I doubt it would hurt playing for at least little bit longer before moving on.
And if nothing else, at least you gave it a fair shot.

Oh, and stay away from forums for now. There are a lot of spoilers and the game easily can be ruined for you by them.

Thanks guys, and i will definitely try to stay away from the forums (i didnt know about different endings until i created this thread at all :D).

Luckily, nobody spoiled anything for me so far, and the fact that i know there are multiple endings doesnt bother me that much :)

There are about 15 endings, so there's plenty of variety as far as they go.

Papyrus jumps out of a window in the Undyne hangout. That's the point where it connected, for me anyway.
