how to edit the game?

for the life of me, i cant edit my money, room, or anything! i save it in notepad, but it doesnt do anything. what am i doing wrong?

%appdata% appdata local the UNDERTALE[ its in all caps by the why just typing how it looks ] and the save file and other stuff should be in there

hold up ok wait sry didn't read the whole thing. ya you open your save file in notepad then search your money amount then change it from there. i think thats how it works, but not sure though hope thats helps.

Are you editing file0, file9, and file8? the values all need to be the same on all 3. Don't worry if you don't have a file8 btw
