How to fight Flowey again?
I saw jacksepticeye's playthrough of this game, and noticed that, after he spares Flowey, he has almost one hour of extra content. But when I finally beat Flowey (more like LSD God), I decided to kill him. Curious to see the extra content after the battle, I fought Asgore again, but this time chose to kill him instead of sparing him. Flowey showed up, telling me that he's gonna appear over and over again (cheeky ♥♥♥♥). I fought Asgore once more, sparing him this time, but when he finished talking about his hope of becoming a family again, he said that this is all a fantasy (aware of my previous shenanigans), and my character automatically killed him. One more fight, this time he didn't say anything about a fantasy, but Flowey showed up again and... I think he said something about me trying to get the happy ending. One more fight with Asgore, and Flowey shows up again, not even saying anything this time. The game just keeps giving me the call from Sans, Papyrus and Undyne, which is the same every time. I want to know if I can fight Flowy once again and spare him instead, but I've fought Asgore 4 times already and I didn't get the option even once.

So, is it possible to fight Flowey again, without having to completely wipe my save and beat the game again?

Also, is there a way to beat the game without Asgore dying at all? Don't spoil, just say yes or no.

Oh, and can the first playthrough be the True Pacifist? I didn't get any EXP or LOVE, and I only ever used attack when fighting Asgore (I did shoot at Mettaton's heart, does that count?), and didn't get the Asriel fight or whatever, despite reading that he's the final boss in the True Pacifist playthrough.

1.- I don't know...
2.- Only in True Pacifist.
3.- No, the first time no matter if you date Papyrus and don't get EXP/LOVE, it'll be counted as Neutral (unless you do a Genocide playthrough; then it's different)

Uhh, okay. So I decided not to fight Asgore anymore, instead just walking back, and I just got a call from Undyne, so... I guess the game did progress, and I just didn't realize? I hope that's right

Go to Undyne's house, you'll receive a letter. Follow the instructions she'll give. Then now, you can continue to True Pacifist.

I continued my quest without reading your guys' responses.

I finished my True Pacifist run.

This game...

I love it so much...

Just... everything about it is incredible. I mean, even when I finished with Flowey and thought it was the end, I still thought this game was good. But the true ending man, it's SO GOOD.

You're meant to NOT kill Flowey, it RUINS the whole pacifist run turning it into a Neutral. Then there is no way to fight Asriel or get the letter to bring it to Alphys and enter the True Lab. (whoops spoilers) And then the rest is for you to discover

You can't fight Flowey again without True Resetting. which is absolutely genius

Actually you can kill both Asgore and Flowey and still get the pacifist ending. This is because you have to reset to a point before fighting them when you backtrack. You basically go back in time before you killed either of them, so they are both still alive.

Totally
Also, why did you revive this thread.

Killing Asgore or Flowey does nothing. Regardless of whether you kill or spare Asgore, Flowey kills him. If you spare Flowey, he'll let you know what to do to get True Pacifist. If you kill Flowey he won't show up until the very end fight, but it doesn't give any EXP.

Basically this. The last save is before Asgore fight, so whenever you finish the Neutral route and load back you're actually still before your fight with Asgore.

Did Neutral, then True Pacifist, then True Pacifist, then Neutral. Now on my 3rd True Pacifist. Watched Genocide. I probably know 90% of the game already.

Seriously, leave this thread alone. There's nothing more to write here. Since I wrote this thread I beat the game 4 times over. Get on with your forum readership.

Ah, good ol' me. Caring about King Fluffybuns from the very beginning, and having my wish fulfilled.

Did you do Undyne's date before or after beating Flowey? If you do her date after, she will give you the letter for Alphys at the end of her date, instead of calling you. If that's the case, you just need to go to Alphys's lab.
