How to do the true reset without beating the game!!!!

So yesterday I was playing Undertale and I could'nt beat the spider queen in hotland so what I did was hack my gold and gave my self 9,999 gold so I could buy spider dounut and I automatically win so I added 9,999 gold and I already had some gold so my gold went over 10,000 and you know what happend when I went into the game it was fully reset as in none of the charcters rememberd me which is called the true reset.

You can just remove the save data from the UNDERTALE folder. If it's empty when you boot the game, it will reset as if you've never played it.

Though, more steps are required if you've completed the genocide route.

Press (Windows+R) and type "appdata". Then Go to Local. There's a file called "UNDERTALE". There are your save files. "file0", "file9" and "undertale.ini" are your save files. Delete them and you're done.

So I did that and it didn’t do anything, I still had save files when I re opened the game.

I did this, but after launching the game I am stuck in a void with a wind noise. Great.
