What colour soul do you think each of the main characters would have?
I just thought this might be an interesting topic to discuss. If the main characters, such as Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, etc did have a coloured soul, what do you think their colour would be and why? I think Sans would have a Blue soul for integrity, because although he does seem to have "given up", he does the right thing when he has to (trying to stop you when you go on a killing spree), despite the fact he is probably fully aware he's going to lose at some point.

Probably the colors on the player's soul in their fight. Papyrus and Sans blue, Undyne green, that kind of stuff. At least that's what i think.

The souls have different traits, which is why I thought Sans would have the integrity soul. The reason you get a blue heart when fighting Sans and Papyrus is just because that's their power, gravity manipulation and it's a way of showing that. Same with Undyne. That wouldn't really be their soul traits because well.. Undyne, green, kindness... Doesn't really fit.

Yeah dawg i'm using a spear to block attacks that obviously mean i'm kind

I don't really bother with what the colors mean because since in my opinion the colors kinda fit the character already, except that maybe Papyrus should be orange. Also, if you look at it, who would fit to be green anyways? None of the monsters are actually kind. Toriel tried to kill you. Doesn't matter the reason, killing me is sure hell not kind. Papyrus is just an airhead, and the rest aren't kind at all.

The soul color traits usually reflect how you end up defeating or befriending the character.

Integrity is about self-imposing morals, or having strong good morals. You befriend Papyrus by just being a nice person and going through with his puzzles. You befriend Sans by not being a genocidal maniac.

You befriend Undyne by showing "Kindness" to monsters, she will only friend you if you don't kill a single monster. Undyne also shows you kindness by giving you a spear to block her attacks.

You defeat Muffet with "perserverance" by surviving her boss fight.

The only one I have trouble with is connecting Alphys and Mettaton to "Justice".

Determination: Undyne (for obvious reasons).
Bravery: Mettaton/Papyrus/Undyne (all of which are very cocky).
Patience: Toriel (based on her patience for you in the ruins).
Integrity: Papyrus (innocence) or Sans (judges you).
Perserverence: Papyrus (wants to be a part of the Royal Gaurd).
Justice: Sans (genocide).
Kindness: Pretty much all characters except Sans.
Flowey - Determination
Toriel - Patience
Sans - Integrity
Papyrus - Integrity
Undyne - Kindness
Monster Kid - Bravery
Alphys - Justice
Mettaton - Justice
Asgore - Bravery
Napstablook - Perserverance

Why does Undyne get kindness instead of justice?

Possibly because Alphys is manipulative, and Mettaton is a ♥♥♥♥ so you're serving them justice possibly?

I have seen a lot of people do Sans as having two colors sort of mixed together, Blue and Gold. In this case, I could see that being his normal thing going for him since he is a bit different of the other monsters. We also see him bleed and I don't think we see any of the others really bleed in the game.
