After my first run, I only have the option to "continue" or "true reset"??
I just finished the neutral run, I think. After getting the call from Sans, Flowey told me that if I wanted to get a different ending, I can exit and load my save file. I did, and after fighting Asriel, the barrier was open and everyone was set free.

Blah blah blah, I got through the credits and now I want to do the True Pacifist run. But the only options I have are True Reset and Continue. True reset is completely starting again, right? Or is that just a normal reset? I don't want to have to do the neutral run again before going on to the pacifist, so I'm unsure. What do I do?

When I click continue, it just takes me back to the checkpoint before the barrier/exit. Then I have to watch the credits again??

Nope
Then you go back and hang out with whoever flowey told you to.

I already did that, which led me to Alphys's lab, which eventually led me to fighting Asriel.

Everyone's gathered into one room (Alphys, Undyne, Sans, Papyrus, everyone), and in the next room is the exit from the underground (barrier). I've already completed everything. Last time I opened the game, Flowey told me I had the power to reset the timeline and play again. (Well he worded it different, but it's basically the same lmao.) Then after exiting and later reopening, I don't have the option to do a normal reset; only a true one :'0
Both "Reset" and "True Reset" start a new run of the game. True Reset however only appears as an option once you complete the pacifist ending and reboot the game. The difference between them is that a normal reset will start the game over, but things you did in previous runs will have effects on the new run. A "True Reset" on the otherhand will wipe all previous runs you've done, and act as if you are starting up the game for the first time.

You completed a true pacifest run
If you fought Asriel you got the Pacifist ending.

Ohhh, well I thought it was the neutral ending; since everyone was saying you had to do that before getting the Pacifist ending. Hm, cool.

Ohh, okay then. But if I don't want to completely start over again, what do I do? If I click True Reset, will it give me the option to do a normal reset, or will it just restart it completely? I don't want to take a chance and click it, because I really don't want to have to replay the game before doing Genocide run, hehe.
