Can I spare Toriel?

When I get into her fight so I can leave her house, I'm not going on a pacifist run but do I have to kill her? I really don't want to. I get her HP low and I try talking and sparing but it doesn't work for me. Thanks for any help.

If you are doing true genocide then, yes.

Yes, it's possible to spare her. You just have to be very persistent with the spare option.

I am not sure what you mean, but if it is genocide with Sans as a battle, then yes. You kill everything, no running away or sparing. If it is neutral and you are trying to get a special ending at the phone call, then it is optional.

? I have never brought up me doing a genocide run nor sans. I was talking about Toriel. The first person you have to fight to get into the underworld.
