I know this can be done. There are developers who will take current games and port them to old systems because they are enthusiasts...or maybe they just have to much time on their hands. Take the game Piers Solar. This game was made long after the Sega Saturn was a viable system. So why doesn't the developer port the game to old systems.

I would definitely buy the Nintendo 3ds version. I think this game would be great for on the go.
