Undertale

I dont know how to start a genocide route
Welp, I've killed everyone (not toriel yet) including the dummy and the frog at the biggening. Yet, I killed everyone i think. I've checked 4 times. It doesnt come up saying "but no one came"

The more monsters you kill, the longer it takes for them to show up. Just keep killing them until it says "but no one came"
Changing rooms resets spawn times, so be sure to grind in one room.

So, I did the right thing? I just need to keep grinding? I am lv 4 right now and i see most people when they fight toriel are lvl 3
After you've gotten the kills needed, an encounter with the message "But nobody came."
will always pop up once in each room monsters normally spawn.

Save points will also only say "Determination." and nothing else.

Just warning you, you don't get 'but nobody came' in Waterfall. Once the save message is '1 left', you're good to go. For every other area, grind until you get but nobody came.

You have to kill 20 monsters in the RUINs before fighting Toriel, this does not include the Dummy, the first froggit Toriel can scare away, or Napstablook. None of those three are required kills, either.

For a first genocide I recommend just going to the room with the three rocks, and just grind in there until you get all the kills. You can spare monsters as well, you can use this as a way to get more XP; only fighting the monsters that give more EXP upon death, keep in mind there are monsters later such as Snowdrake and Shyren that MUST be killed. I'd also buy as many Spider Ciders as you can get as they are the best healing item other than a single item before the first real boss in genocide.

That's not true.

Waterfall will actually warn you if you haven't gotten the kill count. What prb happened is you did get the last kill, but you got to Undyne before it had the chance to show the "But nobody came" message.

No, she saved and got '1 left', then went to the part where you fight Mad Dummy on accident and he became Glad Dummy.

He'll always become Glad Dummy if you've completed Genocide up to killing Papyrus, as long as you don't spare Shyren. It doesn't mean you've completed genocide in Waterfall.

Glad Dummy also counts as a kill, so they would have been the 1 left.

She fought Undyne the Undying and killed Sans in the same run though???

I know, I'm saying. When she killed Glad Dummy, that was the 1 left. She killed them and got the kill count.
