Analog support?
Been trying to get the analog sticks on a dualshock 3 to work with this using motionjoy but can't seem to get it to work. Anybody have any tips for this?

Same here, it's much smoother in the PS1 Release.

I'm running it with motioninjoy, and I can't get my d-pad to work! Lol

As for my motioninjoy settings, I put it on the xbox360 controller emulator, and then configured it to my control preferences from the =>options menu.

Then be sure to hit "enable" on motioninjoy to be sure it works, I always select only my 1st and 4th ps3 LED controller lights to be on. After I hit enable, if only 2 lights are on I know it worked.

The dpad is off by default by the game for some reason. Directions are only applying to the left analog right now for some reason.

I have a PS3 profile set up where the dpad buttons map to directions as well so I can use left analog and dpad for movement and menus. You have to map the dpad to X/Y +/- with your profile on motionjoy.

I just set my buttons to what the launcher used as that seemed simplest but I'm thinking it might be better to set up a map so X is B1, O is B2, square is B3 and triangle is B4 but that's just preference. I just have trouble when it pops up and says "b4" for something lol.

Even if you get the analog stick to work, the problem is that you will only be able to move in 8 directions. In the PS1 Version you could walk smoothly in 360°, that doesn't seem to be possible with this release :(

YEAH PS1 has native analog support you can walk or run without any button and in 360º, this release only have a keyboard remap... because is the same version released years ago... they dont deserve sell well with this work, other thing, the pc music version sucks a little.

Ahh in ps version you can move the character also with d-pad and rumble support

They dont want to hear nothing about emulators, because you can play this game far better with them.

Ditto. Not buying since I own the original PS1 version that has analog support. I would also love to hear whether or not this has been implemented yet.

idk about the ps3 controller but the ps4 controller functions with everything.

Can you move in more than 8 directions? If yes, would be so kind as to record this in action. Will pick up a PS4 controller if this is true.

Easiest test is the analog stick alone should control whether you walk or run, but I don't know how one would record that on video.

A lil bit late reply, but still - PS4 controller will still have 8 directions movement and a button to walk, so don't bother buying one

Since Steam Community doesn't have a like button, I wanted to let you know that I, and others that care about this problem, appreciate this reply.
