usually if you lost it to another player, you can get it back from them as a prize if you beat them. if you synth'd it some cards will never be findable again in some cases.

hm... darn, I lost my diablos card and I played like 10 games against him and never saw it back so I moved on to a point where I cannot challenge the guy again.

For that achievement, you need to actually have all the cards in your inventory.

If you complete the CC-Group sidequest before 'disc 4', you can get any of the rare cards (except for PuPu) from the CC-Group members at the final part of the game, particularly the left Diamond girl. This includes cards that you've modded, lost or missed completely.

ok thanks, I have a save that is right before I go to the white SeeD ship so luckily I do not need to go too far back ( I can also get the last occult Magazine I missed since I forgot to get it when I was in control of Zell in Esthar).

also, where is this at?

The CC-Group sidequest can be done on Balamb Garden on disc 2 or 3. Copied from Absolute Steve's FAQ on GameFAQs:

"After you have fought the Oilboyle bosses, you can look around in Balamb Garden
for the following four CC-Group members:

1. Head to the main hall and look around for a SeeD. If he says something about
the CC-Group, then that's the guy. He is called Jack. He will only allow you
to challenge him if you have won 15+ Card games in Balamb Garden. Games that
do NOT count are games played in: Library, Cafetaria, Classroom. All else
will count. Beat Jack to continue.
2. Head to the training center. A man will randomly appear on the right path of
the training center: He is the same man from the prison, who sold items. You
can challenge him anytime after beating Jack. Beat him for the first time and
he will upgrade your Battle Meter (if you have it) with the GF Report. You
can also win the Rare Card Leviathan from him, but he only plays it in about
1/16 games, so it can take a while.
3. Go to the hall with exits to the Cafetaria, Dormitory, and Parking Lot. Look
around for a SeeD. This is Club, and he'll randomly walk into this hall. Beat
him to continue the quest.
4. Head back to the Main Hall, and look around for a girl twin. When they stop
at the Lobby, challenge them, and beat them.

Note: You can win all Level 7 Boss Cards from the CC-Group members. Especially
the Diamond Duo use these cards plenty. I suggest you get at least one of
each Level 7 Boss Card.

To find the next member, you'll have to wait until you've crashed into
Fisherman's Horizon:

5. Another CC-Group member can now be played. The guy who gave you the first set
of cards is no other than Spade, found on the 2nd Floor Hallway. Beat him.

After all events in Fisherman's Horizon, you can look around for the final two
members of the CC-Group:

6. Head to the bridge and challenge Xu. Yep - she's the CC-Group Heart. Beat her
and try to win the Carbuncle Card from her.
7. Talk to Nida on the bridge after beating Heart/Xu. Now go to the Infirmary
and challenge Kadowaki to a game of cards. She'll mention she was the former
CC-Group King. Now head to the Dormitory and keep resting until King appears.
Beat King and try to win the Gilgamesh Card. If you don't win it the first
time, you can challenge King any time after this, King will be on the bridge."

If you've done all of this, then the CC-Group members will all be aboard the Ragnarok on disc 4, which can be found naer the Kashkabald Desert on the eastern part of Centra.

Like I said, as long as you do that sidequest, you can get any card back at the end. The only exception is the PuPu card, which ytou can only get from giving five Elixers to PuPu during the UFO sidequest.

Do NOT mod or lose the PuPu card. You won't ever be able to get another one, not even from the CC-Group.

even the character cards?
SethLios Jan 12, 2014 @ 9:00pm
Yeah, they can play pretty much any rare card you don't already have. However, the cards from the Queen of Cards sidequest will only be played by the left Diamond CC-Group member or the Queen of Cards herself (found at the Crash Site in the southeastern part of Esthar).

The best part about the Left Diamond girl is that on any initial load of the area where she's at (if you're before disc 4 -- if you're in disc 4 it's any initial load of the game) she will ALWAYS play the first rare card you're missing in your inventory. Keep playing her and keep pummeling her and you can get back EVERY SINGLE RARE CARD you might've done away with. (Hello, 100 Holy Wars refined constantly from the Gilgamesh card!)
