please give a full detail of your laptop, including operative system. a 285 GTX is an old model. you should be running perfect with a GTXM 400
The lappy I'm using is an Asus RoG:
Windows 7 (64) updated
Intel I-7 (3610QM)
16gb DDR3 (1600MHz)
Nvidia GTX670M
Still choppy as heck through two particular spots of the animation (running @ 1080 w/ Linear Filtering & Full Screen).
To give you an idea of where:

The shot change between 39-40 seconds into the above movie until about 45-46 seconds is where I am having the main issue. I'd estimate less than 8fps through this section and this INCLUDES input delay/lag (IE scrolling through menus only occurs on frames; including sounds etc).
dropping the screen res to 1600x900 almost entirely fixes the problem on the lappy.
Now that I am more accurately describing this, it feels more and more petty.
