the only real mob i remember being dangerous there was Malboro, if you dont got the Status Res you need, prepare to whipe when he opens up with bad breath almost instantly.
You mean 70 i hope.
This is only true when you don't have the stat bonus abilities, which the OP does. ;)
If you're going to go the Degenerator route to level up and choose The Island Closest to Heaven, set your battle speed to slowest. This makes it easier to get her to attack before a Malboro can get its Bad Breath off if you run into one.
(Of course this requires farming Curse Spikes from Tri-Faces which appear on those islands. Need to get 100 of them by stealing. You can also get them from Malboros, I believe they can be stolen from them as well.)
though i want to try and mod my level beyond 100 with a hack device if possible and see if it continues to affect monsters. if it does my next run im goin to 200!
Not everyone wants a "lolez" game. I find the game incredibly boring with low levels and high magic junctions. It's dull, not fun compared to leveling up. So that right there just completely counters your argument about leveling. Some people also like the feeling of leveling. The game is kind of a chore to run from every battle or otherwise ensure you don't level up.
