I'd suggest mugging Elastoids from the 2nd dream sequence. If you farm the Dragon Fangs from T-rexaurs in the Training Center your level will be pretty high anyway. At least for me it was much faster than searching for Elnoyle cards.

this way, you can be level 14 with lionheart.
you need to be under 20 to get the dragon fangs to fight the grendels outside galadia garden.

If you want to stay low leveled, then yeah, that's better. But unless going for Contrived Finish there isn't really any reason imo to stay low leveled as you're better off with high tier draws etc.

I still have 8 to go! With playing triple triad and carding monsters I still have a long way to go. But i know it will be worth it once im done! I truely can't wait until i can use a Lionheart!

I played vs Trepie Groupie #1, he is the black guy in the cafeteria, he drops elonyle cards quite often.

Anyway, for the people who wonder what we are doing:
You can refine 2 Energy Crystals (...Which you get from 20 Elnoyle cards) into 20 Pulse Ammo. You are going to need 12 Pulse Ammo for the Lionheart.

This is what you need for lionheart, which you can then buy in a weapon shop in Galbadia city in disc 1:

Pulse Ammo x12 <--- I explained above

Dragon Fang x4 <- Grendels in a forest outside of Galbadia garden drop these, if Squall is below level 20

Adamantine x1 <--- you can turn "the brothers GF card" into admantines. You get the card after you defeat them in a dungeon close to Galbadia City, its in the same dungeon where you must retrieve the students secret code to advance the story.

Oh thanks~! I didn't know the trepie groupie #1 was in the cafe. I was going between the 2 other girls in the classroom, but my luck seemed to turn and haven't been getting any elnoyle cards.

Also the Mintour card once I turn it into adamantine, will there be another oppertunity to get the card back from someone else?

But if you wanna be safe, and not turn in that card you can always; go to Dollet-Hasberry Coast. There you will find an enemy called Adamantoise. You will gain it from him if Squalls level is above 30
But if so, get the grendel dragon fangs below 20 first.

Its odd but I am rather enjoying not leveling at all. When I first played with game way back when I maxed out my levels. To this day I still think the final boss fight was very difficult at max level. Also I did not have the Lionheart so this will be rewarding! Anyways back to more Enoyle card farming. Plus i am very eager to get the other stuff to get that gunblade. Thanks!

I remember being level 80+ on last boss, but I made my bahamut card into 100 megalixir, which made last boss extremely easy.
Everytime I got hurt 1 in party threw a megalixir.

Happy farming ( I know I didnt have fun :P )

If you defeat the CC club members in Balamb Garden, then yes, you can get your card back on board the Ragnarok on disc 4. :)
