T-rex
Anyone ever got that funny glitch when T-rex appeared at the woods after fighting Ifrit? I think the glitch occured when you enter the monster training field or something. Not sure how much HP it has but it's possible to beat it early if you use the BOOST feature.

hmm what's the glitch?

I've gotten the T-Rex after Ifirit. I never entered the training ground before that though. It took a little bit, but with all the cures I had, it wasn't to hard to bring it down.

Well at the time I didn't use the BOOST feature so at the beginning of the game when I was suppose to go ifrit I just went to the training ground at eat of the facility which I fought once with two tough plant monsters. After deating them with with close death I just train a bit at the field and headed to defeat ifrit, head back to the facility to continue the main quest and across the woods in the field the T-rex appeared in which the NPC said it's a good time to runaway. I didn't know how to runaway at first so I got my first game over. ha.

I always do my before ifirit traing on the beach by balamb, those fish give you 6 AP per battle, so you can get card and card mod right away.

that's not a glitch per se, Quistis is supposed to say that when you fight it.
It just may happen that Quistis is not in your party when that happens.

The same thing happens later on Salt Lake boss.
Quistis is supposed to say "hey, undead monster, use heal spells", but Quistis may not be there

Actually Quistis was with me after ifrit.

T-Rexaur isn't a glitch. It can appear in the training field and/or in the woods near the Garden (the one with caterpillars and such) at any time, including the very beginning of the game, before you encounter Ifrit. It is quite possible to defeat it at this time, even without Boost, though it's no easy task.

I seem to remember that it is also technically possible to defeat it without even collecting the starter GFs, Shiva and Quetzacotl, from your computer... but I don't recommend trying!

I see. I guess that'll be the last time I'll see that monster since I'm good at tatics and pretty much press on.

Well once you get Siren during the exam, T-Rex will never threaten you again!

Not neccasarily. Both of the keys are rebindable.
