151 hours. That is a lot of grinding. Well done though! I fear for my sanity when i get FF8 on Steam as i don't think i will be able to resist that frankly ridiculous kill count achievement :D

How did you get the obel lake achievement? I've done it twice now but its not awarding after i find the three stars thing.

If the PS1 version of the game had achievments I'd have all of them. I don't suppose that counts though. lol

Nice, can you tell where you farmed for the 10k kills?
Im curios as I plan to do that too (after finishing FF7.. again).

I had to go loot something from one of it's other clues as well. I thought it was lost when I didn't get it to pop up after 3 stars. So I checked every place that wasn't "Break on the railroad bridge" or whatever, though I did draw Curaga from the traintracks near Esthar too, so I'm not sure.

@Lital:
I got that achievement by picking up Luck-J and Three Stars items.
Perhaps you haven't found the Luck-J item yet?
Lital Dec 18, 2013 @ 3:01pm
Right, Luck-J, that was my guess but I wasn't positive and I was too laze to go look at the other items you receive during that.
anima Dec 18, 2013 @ 6:19pm
yes you need both luck j and three stars.

also ill be the first to say i abused the chocobo world import not reseting and imported items over and over ...not like it helped much with getting the 10000 kills but hey more speed stat =p
falkTX Dec 18, 2013 @ 6:52pm
breaking the game is not cheating, at least I don't think so.
manually editing the save files - now that's a NO NO.
anima Dec 18, 2013 @ 6:56pm
well i didnt edit the save files it just let me reimport the items from chocobo world and didnt clear the items from chocobo world itself afterwards so i could import again XD
anima Dec 18, 2013 @ 6:56pm
oh and i did abuse save files for rng manipulation for abolishing card game rules 100% surefire way though.
falkTX Dec 18, 2013 @ 7:07pm
yeah, I think that's fine.
I did a little bit of that myself too... ;)

I'm trying to collect all items and it's getting really hard to get some of them.
The Chocobo World gave me Dark Matter (used the 1st for Quistis), Rosetta Stone (which I modded into Shaman Stone) and a few others very hard/rare items.

I'm hoping Boko can give "Hungry Cookpot" and "Mog's Amulet" too. I don't see any method to those otherwise (I want to keep PuPu card).
