How many times do I need to be Laguna?!
I think that Laguna, Kiros and Ward are EXTREMELY wierd, and I hate them. How many times is Squall going to need to fall asleep and be Laguna throughout the game?!

Twice every disc or something. One of the Disc 2 moments is really painful, too.

twice in disc one, once in disc 2 and twice in disc 3. They aren't really interesting till disc 3

Five times?! Oh God, the rest of the game is going to be a nightmare until Disc 4!

WTF, Laguna is a sissy with no courage, Ward is just a fat guy, and Kiros is stupid.

WTF, Laguna is the best character ever, Ward is the most awesome silent guy, and Kiros is thoroughly fabolous.

Yeah, totally.
Also the Battle Theme. How can you not? I mean, just... how...? <.<

The only thing I hate about the Laguna dreams is that they dejunction everything you got from the characters that isn't part of the dream. Sometimes they just dejunction everything, but it's not fun when Laguna + Ward has magic and Kiros doesn't just because I don't know which character will be in the dream. Sure this is not as much of a problem on subsequent playthroughs, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is in the most important one, the 1st playthrough.

ok, so I'll help.

1. no need to re-junction
2. used characters are Squall, Quistis and Selphie
3. Squall and Selphie? (not sure about this one). You'll have all characters besides Squall un-junctioned.
4. Selection of character for Kiros possible, but you still get all chars except Squall un-junctioned again.
5. Same, but with 3 chars now.

I admit, the laguna story implementation felt really disjointed. Hell even I hated it at first because I was like "what the hell is going on. What am I doing here... Get me back to my main characters". However, as you progress through the story, it does come together, and the game is better for it as a whole with the laguna sections in it. Seriously, the Laguna story lines are good and are really important to FF8's story. I just think Square could have done a better job of guiding the player into those story arcs without making the whole process so jarring. It's one thing to have multiple story arcs in a movie (they're fairly easy to follow and to adjust to), but it's a lot harder in a game. It's like being hit really hard in the head 5 minutes ago and still trying to get your bearings. As I said, the story arc is great and will have you getting epiphany moments later. But yes, I agree the whole process they used to include that story arc is really jarring and uncomfortable.

I'm not quite caring about the storyline, Laguna Kiros and Ward are just wierd, each for their own reasons.

I like it when a story gives me something I don't understand immediatly. So it wasn't uncomfortable to me, it gave me curiosity on what it was all about, and longed for when the game would answer it, in small or big bits. =D
